Versions
Version 7.0 - ELK for Graph
Version 6.5 - GraphQL Playground, live collab

Huge changes in the Graph section!

The Relation View has been modernized, now it is a fully functional tool where you can operate on the nodes of your schema. Relation mode allows for convenient operation with a large schema by focusing and hiding selected nodes. In addition, a pan zoom has been added, thanks to which you can conveniently view the part of the schema that interests you, as well as see the schema in its entirety by zooming in and out. You can now add & change field types and names, implement interfaces, add parameters to fields, add comments, and a lot more - on the nodes of your choice directly in the relationship mode.

  • New sidebar navigation for selecting nodes, hiding them or focusing
  • Pan zoom for convenient schema viewing
  • Operating on nodes directly in the relation view
  • All changes made to a node are changed in all the places where that node occurs
  • Full-screen code panel
  • Nodes from external libraries are clearly marked to be easily distinguishable from the user's nodes
  • Eagle eye that shows the selected node and all dependents with it
  • Toggle for edit mode and scalars
  • Exporting schema to png

Improvements in live collab and user follow.

In the new version of the app, working in live collab mode makes code changes to the co-user much faster.

  • The follow mode is fully integrated with the new report module, so all active instances and changes made to them are visible to all users who are in the follow mode.
  • Improvements were made to replace query params, when creating duplicates and extensions.

Synced schema projects

In the new version of GraphQL Editor the user can create a read-only URL-synchronized project, where the schema is updated every time the schema changes in the parent project

Embedded GraphQL Editor

This feature allows users to easily embed the web app on their own website, providing a seamless integration of our app into their own online presence

New UI Config

Each user can work in parallel on the same project with their own endpoint and layout settings in the project

Recent projects and onboarding restart

  • Added a history of recently used projects to make it easier for users to navigate between projects without having to leave them.
  • Added a button to reset onboardings so that users can remember the functionalities of particular features

REST Proxy image response

Added responses for json files and images in the rest proxy module, now users can get images from their queries

Minor changes in E2E test module

fixed wrong measurement of test execution time and some minor changes in the layout

Conceptual changes to microservices

In the new version of the application, we've focused on creating microservices via the CLI, which is why the code module was dropped from the latest version.

Removed diagram view and external library schema view
